KuwaitGratuity.com is a free online tool that helps private-sector workers in Kuwait, and expats from India, Philippines, Egypt, and other countries, calculate their end-of-service gratuity, indemnity, and unused annual leave payouts under Kuwait Labour Law No. 6/2010.

We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Enter in Calculators

When you use our calculators (gratuity calculator, indemnity calculator, annual leave calculator), you enter salary and date information. This data never leaves your device. It is processed locally by your browser and is not sent to any server, database, or third party.

2.2 Automatically Collected Technical Data

Like all websites, our servers may automatically receive standard technical data when your browser connects, including:

• Your browser type and version
• The country from which you access the site (not your exact location)
• Pages you view and time spent on each page
• Referring URL (how you found our site)
• Device type (mobile, desktop, tablet)

This data is collected in aggregate form for analytics purposes only. It is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

4. Google AdSense Advertising

KuwaitGratuity.com participates in the Google AdSense advertising program (Publisher ID: ca-pub-8397557664144635). Google uses cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites on the internet.

5. Third-Party Services

5.1 Exchange Rate API

Our calculators offer a KWD to INR currency conversion feature. This uses the ExchangeRate-API (a free public API) to fetch live exchange rates. This API call is made only when you click the INR currency toggle. The API receives your browser's IP address as part of the standard HTTP request. No personal data is sent.

5.2 PDF Generation (jsPDF)

PDF reports are generated entirely in your browser using the open-source jsPDF library. No data is uploaded to any server to generate the PDF. The file is created and downloaded locally on your device.

5.3 QR Code Generation (QRious)

QR codes in your PDF report are generated client-side using the QRious library. No data is sent to any external server for QR code creation.

5.4 Cloudflare CDN

Our website is served through Cloudflare, a content delivery network. Cloudflare may process technical metadata (such as IP addresses) to deliver our content and provide DDoS protection, in accordance with their privacy policy.

6. Children's Privacy

KuwaitGratuity.com is intended for adult workers and HR professionals. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through our site, please contact us and we will remove it immediately.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your country, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:

• Right to access: Request a copy of data we hold about you (note: we hold no personally identifiable data tied to calculator usage)
• Right to erasure: Request deletion of any personal data
• Right to opt-out of advertising: Manage your advertising preferences through Google Ads Settings

Since KuwaitGratuity.com does not store personally identifiable information (no accounts, no registration), most data requests can be addressed by clearing your browser cookies.
